The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) is looking to hire 500 new police officers by September 2014.The first step of the hiring process is for applicants to take the LAPD Entrance Exam which will be held at the Norwalk Employment Development Department (EDD) on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Applicants must be at least 20 ½ years old to apply and meet the minimum requirements listed at www.joinLAPD.com.  If applying for the Reserves, the minimum age is 18 years.  (There is no maximum age).
